St Philips Chambers (Birmingham and London) are an award winning multi-disciplinary team of barristers with three UK offices in Birmingham and London.
A professional services business, St Philips Chambers had grown their business significantly and therefore had a requirement to re-organise their office accommodation and staff social area to support the needs of the business.
We worked collaboratively with the designers and planners and Chambers staff to create an improved, open plan working working environment over c3000 sq ft, and a fully redesigned social area and kitchen facilities to support the need to improve staff welfare facilities.
Due the nature of the business the team needed to manage a refurbishment solution that would have little impact on the day-to-day business of barristers and clerking teams. With temporary relocation of the office out of the question, the majority of the office improvements needed to be completed out of hours and at weekends.
Our team provided complete project management throughout, namely:
- Detailed CAD plans to maximise use of space
- Creative designs and installation for kitchen and social area
- New flooring
- Suspended ceiling and improved lighting
- Provision of additional power and data
Furniture procurement
The project was delivered to agreed timescales, on budget and with no negative impact on the day to day business operations of the client.
"The Igloo Property Group team provided an excellent service throughout this project. Several CAD plans and designs were developed at no cost prior to the contract award. Once we had committed to using Igloo Property Group the team were very hands on and proactive in ensuring that the project was delivered with minimum disruption to the business. The scheme was delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.
Overall, Igloo Property Group provided excellent value for money and I hope to work with them again on future projects!"
